Oro & Alma (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a mobile permanent-jewelry atelier based in Illinois, serving the western Chicago suburbs and the greater Chicago area by appointment and at scheduled events.
2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing our website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.
3. Services
We offer hand-welded permanent jewelry — chains welded directly onto the wearer without a clasp. Sessions are by booking only. You must be 18+ or accompanied by a parent or guardian.
4. Booking & deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your time. The remaining balance is due at your appointment. Cancellations forfeit the deposit; reschedules made at least 24 hours before your appointment carry the deposit forward — see the Cancellation Policy.
5. Wearing permanent jewelry
Permanent jewelry is welded with a small electrical pulse. While generally safe, you must inform us if you have a pacemaker, are pregnant, or have a metal allergy. We are not medical professionals; consult your physician with any medical questions. You agree to wear the piece at your own risk.
6. Intellectual property
All site content — photography, copy, branding, and product designs — is owned by Oro & Alma and may not be reproduced without written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oro & Alma is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in question.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of DuPage or Cook County, Illinois.
